  • The Independent Restaurant & Bar

    www.independentplacerville.com

The owners of Heyday Cafe have opened a brand-new restaurant in one of Placerville’s newest buildings. Enjoy awesome specialty cocktails and grill-focused New American cuisine. (I suggest the turnip fries!)

Her full-service catering company features many organic delicacies, using local produce whenever possible.

  • Epic Dust

    www.epicdust.com

A website as gritty as the film, the Epic Dust project was a great success. The site uses loads of dingy, battered, and roughed-up textures to convey a sense of the weary and the wicked.

The site is home to a rugged western film series shot in El Dorado County. Episodes are still being produced and continue to impress our local audiences!

  • Ida Fugli

    www.idafugli.com

Ida wanted to portray the ruggedness and angst of an artist, while keeping the web site accessible. Using large paint splatters and crinkled paper textures, the design took on a life of its own.

The site is peppered with captivating images of her performance work and she uses the integrated blog to keep followers informed about her exciting projects.

  • MORE Rehabilitation

    www.morerehab.org

The previous MORE website needed a serious boost in design and organization. The new layout makes all of their information readily accessible through easy drop down tabs. The donation and newsletter gateways also help the organization keep in touch with its donor base. And the employees can create and edit the website content on the fly! This minimizes maintenance costs while keeping the information flexible and current.

  • Cinema Caldera

    www.cinemacaldera.com

The guys at Cinema Caldera wanted a home page that answered all of the basic questions a visitor could have. Using this idea, the site now has a home page with the basics covered: who they are and what they do. In the rest of the site, more detailed information and samples from their wonderful portfolio can be found.

Cinema Caldera is an independent film production company operating in Placerville.

  • Charles Mitchell Winery

    www.charlesbmitchell.com

The website for Charles B. Mitchell Vineyards is a reflection of their rustic but elegant style. The soft, Tuscan colors were pulled directly from their logo, giving the site a well-polished style. Photos from around the vineyard and winery bring you closer to the El Dorado County wine experience.

Charles B. Mitchell Vineyards is an award-winning winery located in the heart of the Fair Play wine region.

  • William Earle

    www.wmearle.com

This is William Earle’s portfolio and catalog site for his modern, minimalist furniture. Working from William’s own design, we converted the concept into a beautiful and functional web site. Each piece in William’s catalog gets its own spot on the center stage.

This catalog site eschews the more basic layout style for a design that is eccentric while being attractive and easy to navigate.

  • Z. E Pangborn

    www.zepangborn.com

The Z. E Pangborn site includes a gallery and shopping cart with PayPal integration. The design is very crisp and sparse, letting his own fantasic artwork be the center of attention. Portions of his illustrations were used as formatting elements of the information sections to build the presence of his work.

Zack Pangborn is an artist who focuses on sci-fi, fantasy, and abstract imagery.
